A New Season

It’s often a strange feeling when you know that the season you are in is drawing to an end.

The winter is slowly receding and the scent of the earth ripening to take the seeds you’ve laid out and bear fruit is in the breeze that wraps around you like a caress.

The endless toil and moonless nights as you’ve waited and cried out to the Lord are turning to mornings of a rapidly warming sun.

The seeds you planted and the work you’ve done are finally beginning to bear fruit. What you’ve dreamed and pushed for is becoming something more than just a dream.

Spring feels so unfamiliar after the winter. The sound of birdsong after silence feels deafening.

It’s easy to fear what we don’t understand or when we don’t know what to expect.

The Lord is so kind—in every season, He is with you. Don’t draw away from the unfamiliar aspects.

The fruit that you’ll bear is in your surrender.

Maybe… after all the struggle, it’s time to stop viewing the Lord’s promise of your future from the lens of your past.

Don’t let the fear win. It’s a challenging task, when fear often comes from pain and habitual thinking. It’s a long process to break out of, but it IS doable. Freedom is ALWAYS possible in the hands of the Lord.

Fear says, “It will always be the same.”

The Lord says, “I will make a new way.”

Don’t let the fear steal the joy of the blessing that waits for you. Remember the truth—the Lord has an abundant life waiting for you. He has plans to prosper and not harm you, to give you hope and a future.

If the enemy can steal your hope and fill you with fear and doubt, often it will freeze you and stop you in your tracks. You have to push through the fear.

God is ultimately trustworthy above all else—so trust that as you follow Him, it’s Him who will guide your steps. The unknown, the places where there doesn’t seem to be a way is where His glory shines the brightest. What could change if you stopped giving into the fear and instead chased what the Lord has for you?

Keep hoping. Keep believing. Keep moving forward, friend.

Drop your past at the Lord’s feet and let Him renew the vision. The dream He placed in your heart. I think it would grieve His heart to watch you tangled in fear when He wants to gift you something completely new compared to what you’ve always known. The most beautiful fruit in life is often born in the places we protect the roots and allow dreams to flourish.

We promise, He will turn everything you expected to be a waste or a failure for His glory, into something more beautiful than you can dream. Fear does not have to keep tearing you apart. There is so much more waiting for you on the other side. Cast off the doubt and choose to wait and hope in the Lord. Your time to flourish is coming.

Be excited by what the Lord will do!

What areas in your life is the Lord asking you to step out in faith?

What would change if you chose to be bold in your season of life?

‭‭“For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬
