Hello from Brazil

To tell you the truth, the first few days have been whirlwind. We have seen such miraculous healing, salvation and deliverance! We wish we had the room to write down everything that we’ve seen already. We so appreciate all the prayer you guys have put in—it has truly made a huge difference.

The schools we preach in have had so many sweet little souls desperate to know their identity and that they have a purpose. It’s hard to hear their stories—abuse, divorced parents, depression, suicide… we hear it all. Some of them are so starved for love they don’t even ask for prayer or much talking—they simply need to be held. We don’t know how to describe the kind of pain we see, nor the way we watch God intercede and heal their precious hearts before our eyes. We watch so much freedom come by watching them meet Jesus for the first time. There is Hope, and His name is Jesus.

On our first night of training for praying for healing, we had so many healing testimonies that we couldn’t even keep count of them all. Here’s the wild thing—a teammate had a vision about the fire of God touching this city and a few other teammates prayed into it. And then, in EVERY SINGLE testimony, everyone described a “burning” sensation when they were healed!!!! How CRAZY is that?????

Deliverance training the following night was super fruitful and we are so encouraged by the hunger and willingness to dig in that we have seen so far in Nova Prata. It was quite calm, which we were thankful for—we have been focused on truly getting people free and not seeing major manifestations. The enemy was NOT happy… we had wild spiritual warfare—from the sound not working to our power going completely out mid-teaching, but we pressed in and continued by the light of our phones and speaking louder to hundreds of volunteers. The battle may be fierce, but greater is He who is in us than He who is in the world. God revealed His power in mighty ways during the training.

We have such a fantastic team—and get this: most of them are TEENAGERS, hungry to do the Lord’s work. We’re talking praying for kids, preaching, and truly taking an active role. It’s been a joy to empower each of them, and see them truly have incredible encounters with God.

We’re not sure we can put it into words nor can we explain the awe-inspiring power of God when He moves. He’s so much bigger, stronger, wiser than we really think about. We truly cannot fathom Him. But sometimes, we get just a touch when we see Him radically change lives around us. What a trip. This week has just begun!

Please keep praying for our team—for protection, health, wisdom and that we would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. We are so blown away by your support, prayers and partnership. Thank you for being a part of this trip. We cannot do this without you!
